Sam Burns reached a milestone in his young career a few weeks ago when as captured his first career victory on the PGA Tour when he won the Valspar Championship. The 24-year-old now heads into the weekend at the AT&T Byron Nelson in prime position to earn his second as he enters Saturday atop the leaderboard with a two-stroke lead after shooting a 10-under 62 on Friday in the second round. Burns, at 17 under, is two strokes up on Alex Noren who sits in second and six shots ahead of the most notable name on the chase, Jordan Spieth, who fell back in the second round after commanding the leaderboard with a 63 on Thursday.
