2021 All Area Boys Golf Team Adam Duncan, Liberty, Senior: Duncan concludes his excellent high school career by finishing 15th with an even par 72 at the CIF Southern California Regional Golf Championship on June 15th at Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena. .. Finished 3rd in the South Yosemite Conference Tournament and in the Southern Section Tournament at the beginning of the month. In Southern California Regional, Duncan’s consistent days included 13 pars, 3 birdies, bogies and double bogeys. He started playing in two pars and then birdieed a third 440-yard par 4 to temporarily move one under for the tournament. Duncan, a two-time all-area first team selection, finished fourth in SWYL (75.43) and shot 73 in the 2019 Section Championship. Kirk Bowyer, Liberty; Nick Kaiser, Stockdale Jacob Bolda, Liberty, Jr.: Bolda shot 78 in the South Yosemite Conference Tournament to help his team compete in the Central Section Championship. When the Patriots finished in 8th place, he shot 88 in the section. David Chuon Chan, Stockdale, Jr.: Chan finished a one-shot from 1st place Thailand 74 in the South Yosemite Conference tournament and entered the So Cal Regional in the Central Section Championship tournament 77. Spencer Cole, Taft, Senior: Cole competed in the Central Section Championship at 75 in the South Area Tournament. He shot 86 in the section and finished in 10th place among the local players. Akhil Gorla, Stockdale, Jr.: Gorla shot a 5-over par 77 and finished 64th in SoCal Regionals. He had 76 in the South Yosemite Conference Tournament to help Mustang reach the Central Section Championship. He shot 76 there as well. Braden Guerrero, Foothill, Junior: Guerrero slightly missed the So Cal Regionals qualifying at 79 in the Central Section tournament. He made a low round 73 with the other two at the South Yosemite Conference Tournament and won 78 at the South Area Tournament. Pierre Idriantes, Stockdale, Jr.: Idriantes released 86 in the South Yosemite Conference tournament, helping Mustang enter the Central Section Championship. He finished seventh among the locals at 84 in section tournaments. Madab Raja, Highland, Senior: Raja was in a position to post the lowest score among the locals in the SoCal Regional. However, he bogged the last two holes and finished one shot behind Duncan at 73, tying in 21st overall. He fired 75 in SYC and Area and 76 in section tournaments. Giancarlo Sacco, Garcés, Senior: Sacco finished fifth among local golfers in the Central Section Championship after qualifying 73 in the South Area Tournament. He tied low round with the other two at the South Yosemite Conference Tournament at 73.
