After multiple delays spanning two days, it finally looks like the last round of The Northern Trust at Liberty National Golf Club will be played on Monday afternoon. Jon Rahm and Cameron Smith co-lead at 16 under after Rahm dominated the first 36 holes only to see Smith shoot a 60 in Round 3 to tie things up. Those two are the favorites to win when the leaders tee off on Monday afternoon, but there are plenty of golfers beyond them — Justin Thomas (-14), Tony Finau (-14), Viktor Hovland (-13) — with requisite firepower to run them down over the soggy finale at Liberty National. There’s a lot at stake here with the eventual champion almost certainly starting in the top five at the Tour Championship in two weeks, not to mention capturing a trophy for this week amid one of the better fields of the last decade. Rahm has looked dominant throughout, and surely anybody who wins will have to take it from him over the closing stretch on Monday afternoon. He’s not going anywhere, but with an even softer Liberty National that yielded scores in the low 60s on Saturday, we should be in for a compelling finish at the first FedEx Cup Playoffs event of the year.CBS Sports will be with you the entire way Monday updating this story with the latest scores, analysis and highlights from Round 4 of The Northern Trust, which is expected to begin at 12:30 p.m. ET.
