2021 U.S. Women’s Amateur Scoring
RYE, N.Y. – Junior Kan Bunnabodee carded a 1-under 71 in the second round of the 2021 U.S. Women’s Amateur on Tuesday to finish in a tie for sixth in the standings after stroke play with a 36-hole score of 1-under 143. The two-round effort advances her to match play in the round of 64 on Wednesday at Westchester Country Club.A day after finishing with an even-par 72 in the opening round, Bunnabodee bounced back from bogeys on the eighth and 15th holes Tuesday with birdies on the par-5 ninth and par-3 16th. She coupled the pair of recovery holes with a birdie on the par-4 11th for the 1-under tally in the second 18.
Bunnabodee’s opening two-day effort left her as merely one of 11 golfers in the 156-player field with a sub-par 36-hole score.
