Golf fans all saying the same thing as Sky Sports rush to apologies for Shane Lowry dropping multiple F-bombs


SHANE LOWRY had a frustrating second round at the Irish Open at Mount Juliet in Kilkenny.
The Offaly man was on the brink of missing the cut, however, a birdie blitz in the last four holes meant he was safe for the third round.
2A frustrated Lowry sent Sky Sports commentators scrambling to apologise for the Offaly mans expletives.
2Lowry has since put himself into contention after shooting a four-under-par 68 during his third round at Mount Juliet.
However, as Lowry was falling behind midway through his second round, his frustration got the better of him.
The Clara native launched into an extraordinary but entertaining, swear laden rant as he hit the bunker.
As it was the middle of the afternoon, the Sky Sports commentators scrambled to apologise for Lowry’s outburst, which included four F-bombs.
Lowry’s hilarious outburst and Sky Sport’s rush to apologise sent fans wild on social media.

One fan said: “Shane Lowry getting a volley of at least four f***ing’s in before Sky commentator could apologise. Glorious.”
Another added: “Sky Sports commentators fainting in the studio, good man Shane.”
A third said: “Shane Lowry dropping four F-Bombs in 5 seconds at 3:30pm in the afternoon is exactly the golfing content I need.”
One fan pointed out that Sky Sport’s actively apologising for the swearing only leads to it being highlighted, jokingly saying: “Even my kid’s are rewinding the TV to find him swearing!”

Lowry has since put himself into contention after shooting a four-under-par 68 during his third round at Mount Juliet.
However, numerous players took advantage of the conditions to go low on moving day, meaning Lowry is now tied for 19th, with play still ongoing.
Espen Kofstad and Josh Catlin rose up the leaderboard firing in a stunning -7 round three for an overall score of -12 with the pair sharing first position with overnight leader Jorge Campillo.
Campillo will probably end the day as outright leader, he is currently -1 for the round through ten holes.
