Golf tip of the week: Getting comfortable with all of your clubs | News, Sports, Jobs

Knowing how to hit each club will reduce your score.
Play better golf by getting comfortable with each club; you can carry fourteen clubs in your bag. Start by playing with one club at a time.
Play one hole with one club, use it for every shot; drive with it, use it from the fairway, hit bunker shots, and even putt with it. Pick another club on the next tee, and use it for every shot.
You will be pleasantly surprised how your confidence level will increase with the longer irons or whichever club is your phobia.
You will learn to hit the shorter irons longer by hooding the club face and hitting the longer clubs less distance by opening the club face. Challenge a friend to play with you and compete against each other, utilizing the same club.
Don’t forget to enjoy this great game called golf.
