Gophers Wrap Up Day 1 of the Marquette Invitational

River Hills, Wis. – The Maroon and Gold completed two rounds of the Marquette Invitational today and currently sit in 10th place. Senior Antoine Sale leads the team with a two-round score of 71-73—144.
With one round left in the Marquette Intercollegiate, Northwestern currently ranks 1st.Notable:
Antoine Sale recorded four birdies in the first round and added two more in the second, finishing with a first-round score of one-over par (71) and a second-round score of three-over par (73) . He heads into the final round in a tie for 23rd.
Jacob Pedersen collected five total birdies and completed the first round with a score of four-over par (74). He will begin the last round in a tie for 45th place.
Jack Wetzel notched three birdies across both rounds, securing a score of three-over par (73) in the first round. He is currently tied for 68th in the tournament.
Ben Warian earned three birdies during the first two rounds. He logged a score of five-over par (75) in the first round, putting him in a tie for 59th going into the final round.
Connor Glynn also compiled three birdies and finished the first round with a score of nine-over par (79). He will enter the third round tied for 73rd.
Lincoln Johnson, who is competing as an individual, concluded the first two rounds in a tie for 3rd place. He ended the first round with a score of two-under par (68).  Up Next:
