Harding Women’s Golf Ninth in NCAA D2 Central Regional after Day 2

The Harding women’s golf team stayed in ninth place after the second round of the NCAA D2 Central Regional in St. Joseph, Missouri. Harding shot a 48-over 336 and trails Central Oklahoma by 24 strokes for eighth place. Rogers State leads the tournament for the second straight day with a 39-over 615 for the tournament. 
 
JoJo Perry and Abbey Bryan both led the way for the Lady Bisons, both shooting an 11-over 83. Perry is currently tied for 41st with a 21-over 165 for the tournament. Bryan matched her first-round score in round two and is 43rd with a 22-over 166.
 
Alicia Martinez remained as the highest Lady Bison on the leaderboard. Martinez shot a 12-over 84 on Tuesday and is tied for 35th with a 19-over 163 for the tournament. Brenda Sanchez shot a 14-over 86 to move into a tie for 44th. Kiera Smith shot a 19-over 91 and is 49th with a 33-over 177. 
 
The tournament will conclude on Wednesday and the top three teams and top three individuals not on a team after round three will move on to the NCAA D2 Women’s Golf Championships. The Lady Bisons will tee off at 8:30 a.m.
