Coach Craig Antush’s Hickory High girls golf team, which recently captured the PIAA Class 2A team championship at Heritage Hills Golf Resort in York, was honored on Thursday at Eastwood Mall in Niles.WFMJ reported that each team member received a small gift from the mall and the a donation was given to the athletic department.
The Cafaro Foundation has honored state champion teams from Mercer County and Mahoning County for several years.
