OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss men’s golf head coach Chris Malloy is proud to announce Thomas Fischer, Patton Samuels and Cameron Tankersley as the newest members of the Rebel golf family. All three golfers signed their National Letters of Intent on Wednesday making their commitment to Ole Miss official.”We are extremely excited to add three players of this caliber to our 2022 class and our family here at Ole Miss,” head coach Chris Malloy said. “Each of these players has an excellent resume, and there’s no doubt that they have a bright future here at Ole Miss. There’s no doubt in my mind that this is one of the most underrated recruiting classes that I have seen and one that I think for many years will surprise people.”A native of Dickson, Tennessee where he attends Dickson County High School, Tankersley sits as the No. 1 ranked recruit coming out of the state of Tennessee in the class of 2022. I look for Cam to come in and compete immediately.”The Rebels were also able to land Tennessee’s No. 2 ranked recruit of 2022 in Patton Samuels, who has won two of the last three TSSAA Division II-A high school state championships in Tennessee in his sophomore and senior seasons.
