On Tuesday, March 16, Missouri Western mens’ golf team went down to Edmond, Oklahoma, to partake in the Central Oklahoma Bronco Invitational at Oak Tree Country Club. The Griffons finished 11th out of 20 teams in the tournament. Oklahoma Christian won the team title with a score of 871 as the Griffon’s finished with a 904. In the first round of the invitational, Patrick McCarthy led the way for the Griffons by shooting a 72 on the first day followed by a 74 on the second. Jet Simmons shot a 77 in round one and 74 in the second. Lucas Horseman finished with a 75 in round one and shot an 80 in round two.
