COON RAPIDS, Minn. — The St. Scholastica women’s golf team concluded its 2022 fall season with an eighth-place finish in a 10-team field on Monday in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships at Bunker Hills Golf Course.Carissa Oberding was the best CSS finisher with a 54-hole total of 249. Teammate Hannah Garcia was two shots behind Oberding. The individual winner was Kyra Venna of St. Catherine, with a 3-over 222.Carleton won the team event by six strokes.On the men’s side, CSS was ninth of nine teams behind champion St. John’s, which overcame a 10-shot deficit after 36 holes to win by 13.The individual winner was Nate Loxtercamp of St. John’s, who finished at 6-under 210 to win by four shots, also coming from behind after the second round.
The top CSS finisher was Jamin Durfee, who tied for 33rd at 23-over-239.
