Tyrone golf takes Mountain League title | Sports

The Tyrone golf team earned the Mountain League championship after winning the final league match of the season on Thursday at Bellefonte. The Eagles had a team total of 328.Cassidy Miksich shot a 78 to lead Tyrone. RJ Royer carded an 81, while Luke Brooks and Cyrus Ahlert shot an 82 and 87, respectively.Royer beat Huntingdon’s Ryan Marshall in a 2-hole playoff to win the 2021 Mountain League points MVP. Both made a par on No. 1, while Royer birdied No. 2 to win the playoff.
