ATTICA — In a battle between two of the Genesee Region League’s top golfers, Attica/Alexander senior Dominic Nicastro got the better of Elba/Oakfield-Alabama junior C.J. Gottler at Attica Golf Club.Nicastro fired a low round of 38 on his home course, while Gottler answered with a 39. Elba/O-A shot the low team score, winning the league match 179-186.Gottler and Nicastro will hit the links again this morning for the Section V Championships at Stafford Country Club. Gottler is a defending sectional champ.A/A is now 4-1. Elba/O-A is 6-0.
