University of Northern Colorado signs basketball, volleyball, golf athletes during early signing period – Greeley Tribune


Wednesday marked the NCAA’s initial date of the early signing period for all sports besides football, and the University of Northern Colorado inked athletes in men’s basketball, women’s basketball, volleyball and women’s golf.
The Bears men’s basketball program signed two of the top prospects in the state: guard Langston Reynolds and forward Brock Wisne.
Reynolds, a 6-foot-4, 205-pound guard from Denver, played two years at Denver East High School before playing the past two years for Colorado Prep in the Grind Session circuit.
He’s rated Preps Hoops’ No. 2 player in Colorado.
Wisne, a 6-foot-8, 220-pound forward from Thornton, also played for Colorado Prep the past two seasons. He initially played for Horizon High School.
He’s the third-ranked player in the state.
Northern Colorado women’s basketball program added six signees: 5-foot-8 guard Aniah Wayne (Omaha Central HS in Omaha, Neb.), 6-foot-2 forward Avery Bang (Chaparral HS), 5-foot-10 guard Lilah Moore (Pinnacle HS, in Phoenix, Ariz.), 5-foot-8 guard Gabrielle Fields (Brownfield HS in Brownfield, Texas), 5-foot-11 guard Jacy Weisbrod (Aquinas HS, in La Crosse, Wis.) and 6-foot-3 center Aniah Hall (Temple HS, in Temple, Texas).

The Bears’ volleyball program inked six athletes, as well: outside hitter 6-foot Bella Van Lannen (Appleton North HS, in Appleton, Wis.), 6-foot-2 outside hitter Brynn Reines (Rogers HS, in Rogers, Minn.), 5-foot-11 middle hitter Isabel Bennett (Grandview HS, in Aurora), 5-foot-10 setter Mia Liddiard (Skyline HS, in Salt Lake City, Utah), defensive specialist Rachel Greek (Caste View HS, in Castle Rock) and 6-foot hitter Zoe Gibbs (Niwot HS).
The UNC women’s golf team picked up two athletes: Timbre Shehee (Mead) and Carolina Fallotico (Milan, Italy).
