Sophomore Cassie Robinson (Emporia, Va. / Greensville County) placed 12th overall with a 90-82—172 (+28) and senior Beth Ann Townsend (Greenville, S.C. / Travelers Rest) placed in a tie for 13th, just two strokes behind Robinson. She finished with an 87-87—174 (+30).
Sophomore Grace Owens (Hinsdale, Ill. / Hinsdale Central) rounded out the Generals in the field, placing in a tie for 19th out of the 45 golfers in the tournament. Owens finished with a 95-82—177 (+33).
Washington and Lee’s next action will be on March 29-30 at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate hosted by William & Mary at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va.
